BOSSES, LECTURERS/TEACHERS MUST CLOSE THEIR FLAP ZIPS - Educate Ghana Summit.

1. On 5th April, 2018, the special committee, investigating into the  allegations of sexual misconduct against some teachers at the Ejisuman Senior High School, has found eight of them guilty of inappropriate sexual advances on the students.
The scandal broke after more than ten female students at the school claimed, they were forced by some of the teachers to stroke their manhood until they ejaculated as a way of punishment.

2. 21st July, 2018. The Head teacher of Battor Senior High School in the Volta Region, Lawrence Kwasi Korley, has been caught in a scandalous act with one of his female students.

3. 11 Oct 2018 · A 17-year-old girl has been allegedly molested sexually by a teacher at Obuasi Senior High Technical School in the Ashanti Region and

4.8 Oct 2018 · Three lecturers of the University of Professional Studies, Accra ( UPSA) have been dismissed for allegedly soliciting soliciting for sex from some female students.


Teaching is a noble profession and must be accorded the necessary respect. Teachers are the eye of every country. They have a very big responsibility thus producing future leaders by imparting knowledge for one to become morally brilliant and skillful. Truly, all professions can boast off, but the teacher taught them all. But for the effort of a teacher, our constitution wouldn't have been grasped fully.

Of late, we hear about teachers raping pupils, defiling pupils. Well informed honourable members,  why?. Many rape and defilement  cases have been reported this year against teachers and lecturers.

Teachers must be very meticulous about the teaching profession. Simply because, they are there to model, mentor and nurture the young ones but not to destroy their future and destiny. If teachers  are defiling the pupils,  what will the ordinary citizens do?

Besides, sex for job is also on the high side. This is also happening in most of our institutions to break protocols during recruitment.  The unfortunate part of it is that, after one has been employed through this means, she does whatever she likes without any workforce to help build the nation.

Causes
1. Some biased, teachers and lecturers inability to control their libido.
2. Irresponsible parents/broken home.
3. No proper sex education in schools/home.
4. Discernment in sex education both in school and home.
5. Teenage pregnancy.
6. Pornography.
7. Employment opportunities are now for families, party members, love ones but not for qualified personnel.

Recommendation:
1. Government must form some measures to penalize culprits bosses, teachers and lecturers.
2. Government must include sex education in our syllabus.
3.Parents must be very vigilant about their wards because their future marriage must be secured.
4. Parents must be responsible and play their respective roles in their wards education.
5. Parents must protect their marriages to avert broken homes.
6. Bosses, Teachers and lecturers must be morally upright and be able to control their libido.
