🇬🇠Press Release
Mr. Boadi William of Educate Ghana Summit, has implored Ghana Revenue Authority(GRA) to educate Ghanaians on the Tax Identification Number (TIN).
The need to register and the importance of the TIN.
He urged GRA to make sure their offices are visible in the various districts across the country before the implementation of it laws with such strong restrictions.
“The current and trending news in the country about Tax Identification Number (TIN) has become the order of the day, but considering the small towns and villages where GRA offices are not available, it will be very difficult for such people to get registered,” he added.
Mr. Boadi, therefore suggested that, GRA may not be able to establish their offices across the country now, so they should collaborate with the District Assemblies to enable people get easy access to register.
Also, educating the public is very important because, the registration is free of charge but some scrupulous citizens may do it at a charge thereby making the process unfriendly.
