DISTRICT EDUCATION OFFICERS MUST DESIST INVIGILATION NOW - Educate Ghana.
The formidable CEO of Educate Ghana Summit Mr. Boadi William has asked those district education directors who has intentionally allowed officers to suspend their works for invigilation to desist immediately.
Mr. Boadi said, from his investigations most of the district education officers are invigilating the 2018 Basic Education Certificate Examination currently. Teachers who visited those offices met empty chairs.
Moreover, they have replaced National Service Personnel to perform their duties. Such act is unprofessional because those officers are supposed to work in their offices and serve teachers, students, NGOs, stakeholders etc.
Invigilation is known to be done by teachers whose schools are exams centres, also S.H.S teachers on midterms.
